Some tw*t has keyed my girlfriends car (2004 1.4 clio).

No idea why, as she doesn't have any enemies, obviously just another random chav act. f**king c*nts.

Anyway, it goes from near the handle on the passengers door all the way down the rear quarter.

Any rough estimate on price for a respray of those areas?

200 quid to respray one side is okay ish guess. I don't know if they'd strip it right back and start again or just wet sand and spray over the original colour still being there.

Renault will triple that price most probably.

Unlucky mate, i recenntly moved out with the misses and we've had 3 tyres slashed between us in the last 3 months.. I supposed thats a blessing compared to having to have half of your car resprayed tho lol! They'll get whats coming to them one day

chearper to buy a new wing and door... be patient, get a wing of ebay in the same colour £30 - £40 and a door pobs 80 - 100 bit cheaper and wont effect insurance

Before you get all worried about costs and the put out etc I would take it to a local bodyshop, they are experts, they will tell you what it will need.

Then you go from there, get a quote from them first before you start buying bits off ebay and what not.
