Air Con/Climate Controll Difference.

  Shed.
Like the title says. In sports (exc cups) you get climate controll, which enables you to turn your car into a moving furnace or a freezer.

Whats air con, simply the standard twist dials which blow hot air out or, the "cold" air from the outside.......when its summer your in for it lol.

yes .

air con is a constant blower , no temp control .
climate control as mentioned , has the control of the temperature inside the cabin (better)

climate control keeps the temp in the car at a constant temp aircon does not just lets u control the temp how you want it and control the speed of the fans and you will also have normal fans aswell in it

Air con actively cools the air dependant on how far you alter the hot/cold dial, so it's equally great in hot weather as climate for keeping you comfortable. It just doesn't let you 'pick' your temperature unlike climate (but that's no big deal).

its a big deal once you've had it, i couldn't go without CC now, its so much easier not having to mess because its either blowing too hot or too cold, mine is pretty much kept on my temperature all year round and I am kept comfortable.

I've had it, all down to personal preference I guess.
its better than normal air con though as you can if you want just use it as a normal aircon so how could you not prefer CC over it?

Or i guess you are saying you don't miss it, i definitely would though, 2 things i had to have on my new car were CC and xenons.

i've had both, and i can honestly say that the climate control is head and shoulders above regular a/c.

you just get in, stab 'auto', set your temp and leave it at that.

i don't miss the auto climate on the 182 at all. i jsut used it as a normal air con anyway, ice cold for summer. max blower speed. job done. The auto function on the 182 seemed a bit odd and never did what i wanted it to do so i jsut used like a manual air con tbh.

as long as the car has air con i am happy tbh. not bothered bout climate.

No. Thats just the normal ventilation with the outside ambient air. AC & CC (Air Conditioning & Climate Control) are both AC. They both refrigerate the air before feeding it into the cabin. Climate Control adds automatic temperature control to the refrigerated air by controlling the vents and fan speeds automatically based on the temperature you set.

Both systems will chill your balls in the summer.

Simplistic explanation...

Normal Aircon:
Warm > aircon on > cool > too cold > aircon off

Climate:
Warm > aircon on > cool > cool > cool > cool > still cool

Or just learn that the dial has infinte positions between Inferno & Sub Zero ;)

I agree CC is better, but AC is fine if you have index fingers AND a thumb :D

Ditto, had it on the old 1.2. Haven't got it now and don't really miss it bar the gadget factor.
