Air Con: randomly blowing hot air when I change temp?

Hi Guys

My climate control in the 182 has started to play up.

Every so often when I change the temperature on the climate control it'll just start blowing hot air and will refuse to cool back down?

I've tried the trick of setting it to hot and then slowly trying to bring the temp down again but have mixed results.

I've read somewhere that this could be a very expensive fix?

Any help would be appreciated!
