Air Con Suddently not working

On my Clio 182, its been working fine since I had it re gassed with a sealant solution as it was leaking last year, so its been fine for a year. Now it doesn't come on, no click noise when it comes on. Is this more than likely lack of gas?

Might just spend £50 on getting it re-gassed.

most places do a free check . i got mine done at ats

Kwik Fit will do a check and regas.

if there's no improvement in the output temp, you dont pay

If you don't get a click it sounds like your compressor clutch is not engaging. If it's low or out of gas the clutch will cycle in and out quicker than normal.

Maybe a stone has punctured the condenser rad, and your gases have escaped.

Or, the relay has had it. Check fuses and relays.

However, I'd get to someone who knows their AC units - KwikFit (wouldn't be my recommendation) or a 'specialist' AC person who might even come to you if they're local !
