Air filter change

Hi

I've acquired a K&N filter off a 2000 Clio 172 but it won't quite fit the air intake pipe for me 2002 172 cup.

Did the air filter change?

If so can I just get the 2000 172 pipe that connects the airfilter to the manifold/plenum chamber as I assume the manifold/plenum chamber didn't actually change?

2000 would be a cylindrical filter

2002 would be a flat filter

You could get an old phase 1 airbox they pop up every so often
