Airbag gone off.

Was just looking for some advice my uncles drivers side airbag went off :dead:, instead of replacing the full seat he was just going to replaced the airbag and stitched the seat up. Anyone done this? and anyone know if the stitching around the weak point is different to the rest or if its just the force of the airbag that makes it rip?

it is ment to rip. so it should be sewn up properly.

most likely cheaper to get a new seat complete.
