hi, im removing the front two seats but on the inside of each there is a nifty little device that looks a bit like a canister. all the small writing on the side talks about gas and proffesionals. im worried its linked to the airbags and if i remove it they'l blow up in my face.


how do i remove the front seats safely????

Disconnect the battery

does anyone actually know? has anyone done it before? will i have to get someone to reset them?

It's the pretensioner like said disconnect the battery and wait ten minutes. You can disconnect the airbag and pretensioner by the connections underneath the seat and just leave the pretensioner on and take the seat out with it.
