AKTIS Report

My Cups going into Renault Wolverhampton this Friday to have the front splitter finally fitted and a few other things looked at.

Does anyone know if Renault are suppossed to rectify any of the problems highlighted in the AKTIS Report and if so will I need to point this out to them.

Renaults internal fault recording system.

Just get them to enter your reg number and it will flag up anything your car needs to have updated.

Mine was clear, but its not that old...

I was hoping a lad I know in the body shop there was going to lift that splitter for me

I usually find its best to keep your mouth shut about known problems which your car has yet to experience. They dont tend to like that too much.

Bet they wouldnt like a a good shafting either but it didnt stop them from doing it to me!

Every time your car goes to a Renault Dealer ask them to carry out an ICM check on Renault Net, Renault are pretty good at ensuring that known faults in large numbers of cars are rectified, every month the dealer gets technical notes, nt notes and a dialogys update. So if anything needs doing they should do it for you but they can only repair what has come up in the ICM check and nothing else unless you state that you have a fault, which will then be a warranty claim.
