Any ideas why my alarm keeps going off at random times throughout the day?
It's a 52reg 172ff with a factory fitted alarm and its worked fine until 4 or 5 days ago. The alarm goes off at random times but more so in the morning between 7 - 9am and sometime later in the evening around 9pm… I’m probably not the neighbours favourite person at the minute. I’m 100% sure that nobody’s being trying to nick it, in fact I was at B&Q yesterday and as I was walking back to the car it went off again in front of me and there was nobody was nearby!
It's not so much of a problem for me at the minute as the car's on the drive and I can simply lock it up without the car alarm enabled. Then get the missus to block the Clio in with the other car, however, I don’t fancy leaving it in the streets and car parks without an alarm!
Could it be caused by the hot weather we're having as the problem started around the same time as this hot spell came?
Can I adjust the sensitivity on it? If not, where the best place to have the alarm tested/repaired or replaced?
thanks in advance
