alarm randomly goes off

hi guys n girls, im new to this forum just looking for a bit of help.
I have a 52plate clio 1.2 16v extreme, n the alarm just keeps going off!!!
when i use the fob to lock the car about 30mins later the alarm starts goin off n all that jazz, quite annoying. if i unlock it then lock it its stops but then it does it agen in 30mins lol, ive found that if i lock it from the button on the inside then manually lock it it doesnt set the alarm that way but that kinda takes the fun outta havin remote central locking :/
its a standard factory fitted cobra alarm. the sensors work as iv tested the car with the window open and wafting my arm around inside, so i tried covering the sensors with bluetac which made no differnce so i guess its not the sensors,, i dont know wat to do!! haha,, somebody hellpp please :D

might be worth looking for something simple....like a flying insect (sounds stupid). my alarm kept doing it end of last year...then i realised i had a moth in the car...it got in when i was getting something out of the car

could try to turn the alarm off

get in turn on the igntion so dash is lit up and do that twice

then lock the doors within 20secs and it should beep 3 times i think to say alarm is deactivated

will do to shut it up till its sorted

It'll tell you in the book, depending on number of beeps, or flashes on the LED or something, what the cause is. Could be faulty door sensor, or interior sensor, or battery dying...

As above, after alarm has gone off check the led for sequences of flashes and you have your answer. Was bonnet sensor not a bad one for going off?
