Few bits to update here...

The other night I stripped all the boost pipes, EGR housing etc off my Clio to fit a EGR blank and EGT sensor...

Now have a working EGT gauge, I plan to remove the housing (just disconnected EGR valve atm), but we'll see.

Also, on my DCi...
Got some rear ABS sensors from Renault...

Need to sort my inlet pipe now. I'm sure there're a few horses in there!

good about the abs, shame you had to buy the sensors in the end though.

ph1 dribbling

Cheeky post that didn't show up!

Probably is, I'm not really that fussed now. Get that EGR blanked, I can even tell you how now lol.

Yeah, but its nice having the brakes back to normal.

Sounds like everybody wants a dribble over it.

You can get them at any fixings supplier. I bought my bolts from the local shop, cost me about a fiver with nuts.

Alex, don't have 0 deg 10 or 15mm rear stub spacers laying around I can purchase from you? Feeling the need to get my b**ch a bit fatter.

As MWright says. Can't remember length. I found it somewhere in a thread in the original group buy last year.

Think my bolts were around 100mm

Rear Disk/Hub Nut: 175Nm
Rear Calliper to hub: 100Nm
Rear Hub to beam: M10=57 n2 - M8=29 n2

Is that sufficient enough for a 10mm spacer or would I need longer than 60mm? Sorry for hi-jacking your thread alex

If you buy longer they can't get in the way of anything so don't worry if you buy longer ones. Take one of yours off, give it a measure and add the spacer size, sorted.

I'm glad you answered all that.

Tonight I bought a screwdriver...

Studs cut down, and bumper refitted. I f**king love how awesome it looks. Not functional yet, just need to sort a couple of hoses, getting on that this week.

Lots done buddy. Could say loads about all the different wonderful cars but I just want to have a ride with the cooler ha. Using half the lower boost pipe and going custom from there?

No idea if the pictures have added on this crappy iphone! But there should be some of the work being done!

Saved my ass by doing it for me today being as it was snapped from just after the cat! :)

Cheers Alex :)

Lol.

Yeah using all the 80 pipework, and just extending it. I'll eventually (when 1.9'd) convert it all to silicone/hard pipes, but for now, a bodge up will do.

Annoyingly I forgot to measure the ID of the existing boost pipes, Don't suppose you have a spare set (or can measure a spare intercooler?), Would love you even more!

At least it went better than I had imagined in my head. Looking dirty, messy and busy as always.

Thanks for washing my car mate!!!

I had to! It was minging!

Properly impressed with it so far, bar the minor things that are wrong, its a very good, nice car. And sounds awesome obviously!

Yeah I think it was a lot less of a task than thought! Happy to be able to hear my stereo again haha!

Will have many more things for you to sort my friend :p you'll be sick of the car by the end of the year :)

Don't face palm but if you'd asked me last week I would have been out in the garage in my slippers with a set of vernier calipers giving the pipe work a measure. Spare cooler sold though.

If you need king bodge to help you know where I am. I have some serious bodges in the bag.

I'm sick of it already lol.

Get the minor things fixed and get it ready for cs show

Shouldn't take much/long at all. Although I keep adding to the list as I find things I'm not happy with.

Damn! Oh well I'll just have to find time to measure mine (or the black one, since I don't think I have half the boost pipes on that currently).

Very shattered tongiht.

Nice work!

You're bloody non stop mate.

Cheers bud!
I have to be, too much to do, zero time etc. The joys of having Clio-owning friends eh?!

That ph1 either needs a ph2 boot or preferably a ph1 bumper!

Dci I looks cool with the intercooler

I think it needs Ph2 rear lights. Is a bit odd how it is atm, Ph1 bumpers are a bit gash though;

I'm bloody loving the cooler. Got a semi everytime I've seen it through the grill tonight.

You love it really ;) that's why your after sales careplan is so great :p

Maybe lol.

Got the RB finished today.

Old cambelt cover was well f**ked.

So a nice shiney one was fitted.
36030B4A-9196-45DE-A713-5249CBC3C624_zpsbnstoqbg.jpg

New aux belt kit, Old belt got covered in PAS fluid, plus it'd need replacing next year anyway.
0ECAAC26-F8DD-4946-ADF0-83EEEC947223_zpskahanzqc.jpg

Mostly back together, New top alternator bolt to replace the missing one, replacement PAS pump fitted etc.
6A07BDC9-3B37-4C66-8E9B-EA59ADA67F74_zpsdqofqo0y.jpg

New top engine mount as the old one was ruined
C0D1F581-E557-4296-BF43-28E084DFA250_zpsvqhw1yny.jpg

Got it all back together, No more PAS whine, or leak! No pics mind.

Then moved onto adjusting my intercooler a tiny bit, and dug the AST top mounts I got from dmallett the other day.
Not fitting them just yet....

I have the slight issue of having to weld up the holes required for the PMS top mounts, but won't be a big deal.
