Just got myself an Alpine iDA-X001 to go with my iPod but ...... am a bit confused with regards compatability with cables. The supplied USB cable is for 5th Generation iPod .... I've got a 3rd Generation Nano and wondered if the Full Speed cable (Alpine KCE-422i) is compatable.
I've done a little research and seems that the Full Speed cable is OK for older iPod (i.e my Nano) but the Alpine manual does not list 3rd Generation Nano as a compatable device with the Full Speed cable ..... hence my confusion!
Any advice would be welcome.
