first off my alternator has gone, supposed to be putting out 14v ish when running isnt it? mines putting out around 6.3 and now (obviously) wont start or run properly, when i do get it started i have no lights, A/C, speedo, windows and wipers are painfully slow etc!
right, i fitted my sub and amp around a week and a half ago, and im not sure if its a coincidence that my alternator has now gone, anything to do with my sub/music or just coincidence?
so i've gathered that either way i need a new alternator, my car is currently stuck at work in Camberley, surrey.
wheres best to get my alternator changed both price wise and quality of work? my cambelt was done around 8/9 months ago so how does that work regarding the aux belt?if anyone on here fits them or knows of someone who does at a good price let me know! baring in mind the car doesnt drive so needs to be very local or someone who can travel
