Alternator Connector

Quick question, in the process of changing the alternator.
I can't work out if the connector on it is just stiff so won't pull out or if it's a clip. I don't want to pull too hard in case it's a clip and it breaks. Any idea which it is? Thanks!

The little black connector?

It has a little clip on the end closest to the alternator body, needs lifting up.
