Hiya, Bought my 172 last November and have done 12,500 fast miles in it.

Was hoping for a roast at my folks place today but only got 4 miles when everything stopped - failed alternator - anyone had/ herad of similar?

Yep done a few of them..

b**ch to change.. Well to get the New Accessory belt back on!!

Means the bumper off and the Offside headlight out...
