neon. but i didnt have the neon on there when it started melting so cant be that. i just used the Rem wire so neon turns on wit amps. ( dont no if its a good ideal me earthing it on that earth ??? ) i wouldnt think it wouldNT effect things but i could be rong

just thought if the amp is earthing out and a load of power go though the earth wont it burn my lil neon earth?

or dont turn it up so loud.. your poor ears!!

thats like saying if u had a 14" penis dont use it cus the girl will shout to loud :p if u got it use it :p

  172 coming soon
Your earth cable should be the same size/rating as your positive feed..

Please say it is... ? :S

You should NEVER use smaller earth wire than power wire, as it has to be able to hold the same power that is being delivered..

could be the fact that the amps are just not powerfull enough to do the subs thus over heating and melting the terminals, get a bigger mono block amp and a quality fat wiring kit!!

you will then find you dont need to turn it up so loud to get good bass and then the amp wont work as hard!!

also what setting do you have the head unit on ie bass level/sub level if it has one!!
power caps and a clio diesel batery may help too :)

there same size

if there is heat it generally means a poor connection or underrated wire causing a high resistance
