Just a sample taken from one classic car insurance companys policy.

"All Policies cater for annual limited mileage use of either 3000 or 5000 but higher limits can be quoted on request."

It may be a good idea to check terms and conditions with your insurance company.

we (CArole NAsh) have been doing classic car schemes for donkeys.

Theres a few guidelines, i think we cover up to 92, 3000, 5000, 6000 miles per year, agreed value and £100 excess. REally good policies: I once saw a guy insure his cossie for £250! Cant beat that!

End of the day each scheme is a bit different so just have a scan around.

jesus 60 quid? how old are u?

i wouldnt mind doing somthink like that coz im gonno be at uni and thinking about keeping car at home to save costs, so wont be doing many miles to the year

Limiting the miles is certainly a good option.

Im 32 by the way kingJimBob - see, getting old does have an advantage (although I could do without the expanding waist and receding hair;))
