Another inferno 182 write off.

  BMW M3
What stickers should be on the front bumper ?

Cant really see thats its been in any crash except the boot, but he may have just debadged it.... no?

Ahh yeah, it should have two black stickers on the front bumber, they should be at the ends of that vent in the bumper iirc (the vents above the reg plate)

  Inferno 182 w/ Recaros ;)
Yeah thats the ones. Numerous people who've had new bumpers myself included the garages never put these stickers back on. Its a surefire way to tell that a new bumper has been put on the car.

Did all 182's come with them ?? I know my dads mk2 172's got them on it. Just loked in the for sale section & some in there don't :S

Must have the same posting timetable lol

It also doesn't have a front splitter. It's a Cup, so it should have this, and also the Cup door badges which I can't see. Not a shining example of a 182Cup, then.

Missing badge on the boot too of course, missing wheel centre cap on nearside rear. Thinner glass? LOL chancer.

EDIT: Shudder. A woman has 'used' one of the alloys.

"As new" LOL

And it looks like some sort of oil spillage/leak in the engine bay?? Reserve of £5495, lol he must be keen to get rid of it.

Apparently a lot of cups didn't come with doors badges (mine didn't).

I fought like hell to get mine. In the end Jeremy sorted it for me personally and had them sent direct to my door, with a fancy key fob too :D

Unfortunately the key fob broke some months later, typical Renault! ;) The badges are still stuck firm though, and they rock IMO :approve:

missing the sill protector as well.

tbh, id never buy a listed car without a test drive and a visual inspection.

4 previous owners, making him the fifth owner and the new owner will be the sixth and it's only two years old!!!

Also states he's owned the car for a year well thats b****cks, the date of last keeper change was 20/12/2006, unless the previous owner was his wife or something?

al

  ST on the way...
Not all of them had stickers, there are a few genuine examples without them.

All the press cars had them but most production cars didn't, including mine. I recall a heated debate with Renault which actually spilled onto this forum, Jeremy Townsend sorted me right out after spending weeks trying to get a part number from RUK. IMO Cups should have Cup badges. Mine does anyway :D
