Another Question About Claying...!

Hey...

I have just finished detailing my dads car and i used the clay kit for the first time. However just speaking to a guy in work and he said you you clay you should break the clay bar into little pieces... however i just used the whole bar and kneaded it in and made sure that the bar was clean each time i used it!

So i just wondered how i was supposed to do it!

Depends on the size of the clay bar dude!

Should be about 7cm by 5cm on average, that is perfect size for moulding into a soap bar shape then very gently flattening to create a flat surface to apply to the paint work.

hey thanks for that jamie!

I was just using the size of the bar and it worked out to bout 5-7 cm! I am very impressed with how the clay worked coz the amount of cr*p it picked up off of my dads car was amazing!
