another wheel colour thread peoples opinions :)

ive got a non sport clio in red and want to refurb my wheels for southend meet what colour, im thinking either gloss or matt black atm, any suggestions

Dont bother refurbing. Spend your time colour coding whilst searching for some ph2 alloys

not getting rid of the alloys i like them, and just had 2 new tyres lol

am still debating on keeping it for longer and if i do i will refurb allys and maybe a 40mm drop

but opinions on colours please

Black with green lip sounds good to me, good to be different. Are you running spacers ?

tbh. go down the route of what suites the car best. you don't want anything out of place.

in my opinion i would say either white lip and black.

or green lip with black

what do people thing matt satin or gloss?

gloss black. matt seems to look bit greyish when out in the sun. gloss black will look brilliant if you get the last coat and surface spot on. a nice bit on wax and elbo grease will make them stand out.

be warned. when painting the badges make sure you use 1500 grit or higher to key the surface smooth and use a quality plastic primer to prep for your colour choice.

have started on the badges and they seem to be ok, the frosts and snow did in my last set an they all flaked, may be due to not primering lol have primered new set. gonna take of wheels friday
