Anti-theft my a**e

I've had the Richbrook anti-theft valve caps on my tyres for about a year but this afternoon I've gone out to my car and they're gone!! So much for them being anti-theft!!! Tut!

Just pisses me off that people take things like that off people's cars. F**king buy them yourself you cheap b@stards!!!!

Can't find my normal plastic ones and halfords is closed....boooo.

Well, yeah, fair enough, they do all have the same key. But still pisses me off.

I wanted them as I fitted some blue ones last year which got nicked (probably a good thing) and at the time I wanted to feel like no one could steal them.

So, where can I get the normal plastic ones from??

Friend broke down, flat tyre. didnt have his locking wheel nuts. Mine fit straight on! Mind you we did buy both our alloys from the same shop but still! .. it was a well known brand of locking wheel nuts.

Not sure if its the same for original renault ones

Anyway... there not that effective anyway, if someone wants to steal your alloys they can just snap them off.

There's always some pikey who nicks the silver valve caps on our merc. The longest they've lasted is about a month :S

These Anti theft devices are just a deterrent really?

My anti theft numberplate screws are good because theyve got a pretty strange locking key.

Dont the valve caps just use and allen key to secure them?

Mine have a key with a small dimple that fits into a small whole in the valve caps

Mate has them on his kit car. Looks quite good with them as its a screw in valve and pump it up, then remove it, then screw the cap back on.

Looks clean.

Thing is we shouldn't have to buy anti theft stuff in the first place feckin sucks.

Locking wheel nuts seem to me useless as all cars now have them and 90% use the same key??? We have ones at work which all have different shapes and keys which is a good.

Dad's always ranting on about his going missing. We worked it out, they disappear whenever he takes it in for a service ( at bloody merc ).
He went yampy at them once over it!
