Any help..

  Renault Clio mk2
Yesterday and today, when my cars on full lock to the left at low speed, e.g. reversing into a space, there is a griding-humming noise from the front left side but its only when on full lock. Any ideas as to what it is? Thanks in advance.

Just noticed on my last MOT that both track rod ends have play in so could this be why? Are they hard to change?

Nah, pretty straightforward. Undo locking nut on track rod, undo nut from ball joint to hub carrier, unwind track rod end off track rod counting number of turns. Put some copper grease on male threaded parts to make life easier in future, wind new track rod ends onto track rods by the same of turns it took to remove (if possible), and do up the locking nut. Then take your car to a garage and get the tracking done properly.
