any V6 clios up north

hi...are there any V6 owners up north around the newcastle area?,currently running a mk1 172 but am seriously interested in a V6 upgrade,i would really like to speak to you and find out you views on the day to day running & any probs etc...ive asked the guys in the local dealers...they all say good things but then again they would wouldnt they....

i live in coldstream just on the borders, i moved up from a mk1 172 to a vee6 last april.

As for running costs I think my car has had the most services ie 3.

Thats 2 x 12000 and 1 x 24000...........the costs were as follows: -

The 12000 mile services were £125 & £144 and the 24000 service was £134.

The above costs include £44 each just for oil ........it pays to supply your own!

The cost of my next service, thats the big 36000 mile one, will be £232 inc vat...............although I will be supplying my own oil and I get a loyalty discount of 10/15%.................so I expect the actual cost to be £160/£170 all in

just had 1st service .. 147 quid.. 2 new rear tyres comin too 160 each i think .. if anyone knows any different then would appreciate

Im about 10 miles away from Middlesbrough mate. Had my Mk2 1year absolutly love it. No problems at all, however I dont use it every day

Im in Manchester and have a MKII V6 that I got new in December. Its a second car but Ive still done 2300 miles in it in the last two months. Love it to pieces and if anything better built than I expected.

i have had no choice but to commute 200miles return everyday in the vee last month!! due to my megane banga blowing its head gasket ..it was fun but it really buggered my wallet a good un .. circa £40 a day in fuel !.. not to mention the mileage .. 13k now was well beow before. at least the first service is done and it came back to me roughly in one piece!
