Anyone else's freeview got crap signal ?

Car  Shed.
We have 2 tv's - Mine, which has bilt in freeview. And my parents, which runs form the digibox. They both have a s**t connection/crap signal, its always breaking up etc.

Wondered if any one elses was like this ??

sounds like you need a new aerial mate!

My signal is 100% and does not break up ever!

+1 Usually a taller aerial will do it..

Not to worry too much, my Dad works for E2v who supply components for TV transmitters aswell as other things including Military secret stuff. He says in a couple of years when the switch over from analog to digital they are upping the tranmission from 1KW to 19KW so there will be no problem picking freeview up then ;)

Not that helps at this moment in time.

my signal is crap too, only recently though... i think its cos the trees next to where i live are crazyly dense with about to die leaves....so am getting sky + to over come this :D

Mine has gone crap lately! Lost a few channels!

Maybe something is up!

TV downstairs seems OK tho, just my TV upstairs even though they both run off the same proper digital aerial!

Freeview is really good. Personally don't get chance to watch much telly, so saves having to fork out for Sky or Virgin for 95% of stuff I wont ever watch. It has every channel I want on it and costs SFA...I've setup my old PC as a media server too so can record, etc, etc.

I'm ditching Sky and buying PlayTV for the PS3. I don't use half the channels. The odd documentary is all I'll miss it for, complete waste of money.

mines built in t tv, only reason i have put up with it....terestrial is much more reliable
