Anyone ever moved their washer jets

  The Jinx

Specifically their rear washer jets on the valvers? Seems like dumb place to put them IMO, so was thinking about moving it and housing it in the spoiler and then smoothing the tailgate where it used to live.

Cant imagine its that difficult. Whats the best way of smoothing off holes in bodywork?

what valver you got then, as mines behind the window wiper !

one squirts up and another to the right hand side.

arent they in the boot lid but there is a cut out for them in the spoiler.i can remeber customers moaning about them dribbling water down the rear window all the time.

Aerodynamics would dictate that squirting from the base of the screen at any reasonable speeds would just result in no spray on the screen.

Had a car before with the jet at the bottom and it was crap. Thought it would look tidier as well. All youd need to do at the top is cut a small hole in the spoiler for the jet and then drill a hole in the tailgate for the pipe.

Speaking from experience dont ever do that to some dodgy looking blokes that are tailgating you in an M3 convertible.

They really dont like it.

lol, agree, they are in a ridiculous place!

spraying the underside of the washer wiper......just crap.

And they do dribble like my housemate when sleeping! lol
