Anyone in the Epping Forest area with diagnostics...

  '92 172, Lotus Elise
...fancy helping me out? :D

The stalling at idle issue has returned on my 172 and before I go replace every part I thought I'd get it hooked up to the diagnostics! :D

I will travel to you obviously :quiet:

I *think* it's the lamda as it smells quite rich on idle too, just curious as I wouldn't have expected it would throw it out enough to make it stall! its perfectly fine when driving.

cheers :D

On mine it was the ICV (Idle Control Valve) that caused stalling, cost about £50 to replace and been fine since. ICV wasn't straightforward to replace though - gave me a 5000 rpm tickover at first ( a bit of poking round the inside of it with a screwdriver eventually lead to normal tickover etc).

Cheers
