Also is it poss to replace a lock without changing the key? My lock has been f**ked up from someone tryin to break in!

as for the lock youll need a whole new lockset with ignition barrel, pair of locks,boot lock and key !! They usually float around on ebay

Ive had the same prob all i wanna do is change the drivers side lock. can is it poss to get one from scrappy and have it altered!?!

or do i have to buy the lock "offically" from renault which matches my key?!

also... ive lost my spare key, so ive only got 1....... can i buy a spare? or is it gonno break the bank?

Same thing happened to me, the garage quoted $250 odd (as they dented the door with the force), plus the cost for matching locks. So i just went down the breakers, £2 and ill put up with the dent, as i have Remote central locking i dont use it ever.

yea im just useing the remote all the time anways but when i come to sell it i would like to have drivers side door lock matched.... just afriad of the cost

you would need a lock ordering from renault to key number or fit a complete lock set. only other way is youll have to have a universal lock barrel which means one lock will have its own key.
