Anyone know

This is an exert from AutoExpress: "...Fire the engine and its clear this Clio is a hard-edged machine. The exhaust sounds louder and the throttle feels much more responsive thanks to a series of modifications made to the engine management system. Slot into first gear, and the clutch feels a little more aggressive, too, mainly because of the faster revving engine. Thanks to the weight reduction, acceleration is strong low in the range, and builds rapidly as revs rise...."

Has there been some changes to the Cup? , obviously not to overall power & torque because figures have been quoted as exactlythe same, but to the 3-D map. So while there might bea certain power & torque figure at a certain number ofrevs, the computer controlled fuel & ignition timing is more aggressive, hence the feeling of a moreresponsive throttle. Correct me if I am wrong!

The engine management system, only controls the fuelling, ignition, timing, etc. and is different from thE ECU/computeR, which controls ABS,Xenon lights, air con etc., isnt it?
