They will be fine mate. A set of hids lasted 3 years on the Frp.

I expect the bulbs to be just as good mate. You would never pay the price for a real xenon bulb! Some places want £100 a bulb ffs!

Sounds good to me, the only difference I can see is from the stock picture on the hids direct and the osram xenarc bulbs is the osrams seem to have metal supports on the glass but the hids direct ones seem to go straight into the plastic.

Anyway hopefully they will be ok even if they dont last as long for the price I cant grumble.

Installed and working fine now.

However a few questions. Initially after I turned them on for the first time the passenger side ( the one that was faulty before ) Didnt start up first time.

I turned off and on and they both started. I took the starter back off and adjusted the contact inside slightly. They both seem to be working absolutely fine now. Could this just have been because it was a new bulb?

I doubt it, I suspect there is an issue still, maybe the passenger ballast on its way out.

Also, on the passenger side starter, it's missing the corrigated washer, what's this for? The earth? The light works fine now but I'm wondering If it was the cause of the last failure.

Pic below attached of the washer that's on the drivers side.

Yeah they seem fine to be, considering the price from hong kong I might get a 6000k set as a backup / swap.

Still interested in the washer though?
