Anyone with 215x35x17 tyres? Any good?

I've got white 17 turinis on my cup. During the course of the 34,000 miles I've covered with these wheels I've had bridgestone potenza and goodyear F1s - both in 205x40x17 size, but I'm now fancying a change.

By my reckoning a 35 profile 215 width tyre will have slightly less overall diameter than a 205x40, meaning that I'll regain some of the acceleration I lost 2 and half years ago when I went up to 17s. Is this right, and will the extra width cause any loss of handling?

Oh, and what decent tyres come in this size?

Don't bother trying to persuade me to go back to 16s - I'm one of the few old boys who still likes 17s and in white (ie mine) they look ace.

Cheers,
Gary

would definetely be a harder ride, and would be more inclinded to tramline, but apart from that i cant see a problem.
id imagine they'd cost a bit more as well, but i have no idea lol
