Anyone with a shortshift kit fitted?

Just been looking at the KTR SHORT THROW QUICKSHIFT GEARLEVER on their site.. Does anyone have one fitted? The Cup's gear throw could do with reducing a lot.

I know there's other makes of shortshift which I can't remember the name of. Are these hard to fit? And are they worth it?

Yea, B&M that's the one. How much do they cost? I know a few people have this one fitted.

I don't like them, the gearbox doesn't like to be rushed at the best of times. You'll just be trying to push it quicker and damage the bearings faster.

i have a B&M fitted to my 98 1.6.
made a hell of a difference.
at first you will prob find yourself trying to hammer the stick into the different gears, but once your used to it, it's great!
reduced the change loads and everyone that has driven my car with it has said how accurate and firm the gear changes are now.
would recommend one to any clio owner!

i also have the b&m one fitted to my mk2 172t does make a hell of a difference! but i think mybe bbpts one might be better now.only they never had one at the time.anybody know anything about the sycromesh on gear boxes?mine seems hard to get in 2nd after blasting in 1st!
