apex lowering springs 172

Car  RenaultSport clio 172 mk2
won some on ebay, 30-40mm.
any1 had or got some pis with them on and do you rate them!?

Nah in all honestly there ok for looks. wouldn't expect any improvements tho.
 
i must get some pics up of my car..anyway i find them to be excellent mate they have completely revamped the hole sex apeal of the car you really can throw it and out of corners rapidly with great control and of course it looks so much better
 
^ See i've lost all confidence in the car now. handlings unpredicatable and sh*t basically.

If you can afford it go for the Eibac's!

Not a 172 but on Apex springs .. great for looks but handling is gash compaired to stock :)

^^ nope don't agree .. sorry Apex handling is gash, crashy, bouncy stock set up is so much better handling wise
 
so would you lot re-list the springs on the bay?!
do they make it rattle inside the car>!

wish i aint wasted by dosh now:dapprove:
 
Everyone is different, fit them and see what you think, I love the way mine looks and they are a stop gap to coilovers for me hence keeping them :)

whats the best to drop it by, i have a 1.2 16 valve, can only get springs for now so whats the lowest i can go?

Cup turinis in steel grey...they used to be on Marks clio.

They do look good :)

I'm on 40 profile tyres too, so nice and low!! lol

I'm thinking about coilies too, but at the prices the missus would kill me!! I've got a wedding to save for! :(.....i mean :) lol
 
how low can springs go, only want cheap ones for now as i hope to get h&rs soon, i want to go as low as possible,
 
cant fault mine.

handles much better than it did on standard springs.
