Apex springs from KTec -30mm?!?

I've got a new set of Apex springs from KTec (via Kinsella ) and it says that they are a -30mm drop all round which is what I was after but after trawling back through old threads everyone seems to say -40mm drop when talking about the Apex springs!

Are there 2 types or do they give a varying drop depending on your car?

I got the same springs on mine&im running 15s! i got loads of speed bumps at the top of my road. You jus have to take each one at a snails pace- Really p*sses people off who are in a hurry behind you thou

mines minus about 70 now and i can do speed bumps, ok at a funny angle and i did get over taken by a granny the other day. as long as they are a decent width, ie not the ones they hve at drive thrus etc i can get over ok

-30 because the 172/182 are already -10.... that makes -40 for standard clios and -30 for the RS versions.

Not for a 172.

172 on apex is 40mm. (Lowest springs)

I'm on 16's and never had a problem...

im on apex's on 15's with a cup splitter and struggle to get over some speed bumps but am fine if i go really slow
but cant get on my drive forwards as it scrapes. lol

I can't see any Apex springs on the K-tec site. There are their yellow own brand -30mm one's. Anyone got these? I was gonna get some Apex -40mm.

Get the apex 40mm, fubar has some on his car and it looks spot on, and isnt too low...

So where does anyone reccomend getting -40mm Apex jobbies from? If the K-Tec one's are Apedx they are about a ton- sure I read somewhere on here someone had got them for a little over £80.

k-tec selling that yellow springs as their own name but they are apex.

apex are 40mm on your car.
On a 172 cup they are 30mm as the cup sits 10mm lower than a 172

mines lowered 50-60mm and I have no problems with speed bumps. I have 17's and no issues at all.
nezza - what offset are your wheels? I had problems with 37 offset wheels causing tyres to rub the rear arches - now have 42 offset and no problems
