APEX Springs / Shock Kit - Doesnt Fit?

  Renault Clio 172 Sport
Hi all,
Had a mechanic fitting my new APEX Springs and Shocks kit today which ive just had delivered and they dont fit?

The mechanic phoned the shop where i got them from cause the bolt holes on the shocks are too small. The mechanic was advsed to try and drill the holes, he did that but when he went to put the shocks on the offset of the holes is different?.
The shop has spoken to APEX and they said they are the only ones they do for the 172 and the hope knows my clio is a 51 plate Phase 2 172..
Any ideas?
There's no issue cause the shop are collecting them tomorrow and refunding but im puzzled?
anyone had any issues or can advise me?

IVe been told that APEX dont do a Shock / spring kit for the 172. APEX have confirmed this with the shop.

Now its looking like im sending these back and i have to go with Coilovers... More bloody expense!

I spoke to a few, europerformance, motorsportworld, APEX Germany.
They list 'All Clios exc 172 + V6'.

There is a smaller size, 172 are 58mm spacing with 14mm holes and other clios have 54mm spacing and 12mm holes. Theres something about it on the K-tec website. If you look at the suspension kits there is some mention of this.
