Apex'd fUbAr!

Took my Eibach Pro springs off the 172 and changed them with some apex -40mm jobbies...

summary:

the eibach's are much better on the road! but the apex look much better, so she's sitting a bit lower now
springs are only a few weeks new, so will settle down a bit more than in the pics.

also scrubbed the ph-quick today

Was just going to say .. not sure if its anything to do with the Apex but when I did Oulton Park my top mounts rubbed like a biatch so much so that they took the paint off my strut bar :dapprove: (strut top covers didn't help lol)

Very nice. Thought the Apex would improve the road handling a bit more than the pros though. I get a little pissed at my pros due to the roll but you can't beat the comfort lol

i couldnt fit the springs myself because my strut tops were airgunned up... i broke 3 tools trying to undo them! lol

needed an airgun to undo them, so i left it to Mike

no scrubbing, well none out of the ordinary anyway...

thats normal giles... my 172 has that part of the arch liner cut out... was like that long before i had the apex on... a combination of eibach pro's and brands hatch ate a hole through my arch liner, so i just cut that section out and screwed the remainder out of the way.

Giles, that's nothing fella. One of my rear arches is eaten right through, far worse than that! lol. It's only plastic that no one see's!
