Only got this 3 weeks ago, never looking back, its a monster !

Apple MacBook Pro 15"
Spec:

  • 3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
  • 8GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2x4GB
  • 500GB Serial ATA Drive @ 7200 rpm
  • SuperDrive 8x (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
  • MacBook Pro 15-inch Antiglare Widescreen Display
Decided to go full out with the spec's as im using it all the time for Uni, and its quite demanding too, decided with the 15 instead of 17 because tbh, the 17 is hench for carrying about.
Only other Apple item is my 120GB Ipod Classic.

May wack some pics of the Pro at some point.

PowerMac G4 Dual 500MHz Tower.
MacBook 13" (aluminum)
iPhone 3G white 16GB
iPod Mini 4GB
iPod Touch 8GB
Apple Remote, iPod Dock, and other random Accessories.

Looking at getting an Airport Express to replace the HomeHub.

  Better than yours. C*nt.
Apple TV. The big one.
iPhone 3GS. 32GB. White, because Steve Jobs loves me.
iPod 60GB. For most of my tunes in my car, although not used it lately. Vee's got a changer, Golf has a hard disk. BMW is confused by anything more modern than an 8-track.
2 iPod Nanos. The short fat ones.

  VaVa
iPhone 3GS
iPod Nano 4th Gen 8GB
iPod Nano 1st Gen 2GB

And that's it. Nano's just for the car tbh.

iPhone is flawed and iTunes is s**t. And it'll be a cold day in hell before I buy a Mac PC lol.

What I will say is that the most amazing thing about the iPhone is the box (indeed Apple packaging in general). Absolutely brilliant bit of design. :D

Once you use it day-to-day, it really comes into it's own.

Yeah, I do a bit of design work with CS4 on my MBP, but I have the iMac for that TBH. THe smaller screen gets on your tits after a while, especially using InDesign.

Yea, I also bought one of those VGA adapter leads for my Mac, so if im at home I just wack it straight into one my 24" monitors, so I only really use the 15" screen when Im at Uni, and tbh, it perfectly fit for that, although as you pointed out, it is abit annoying on InDesign CS4.

Mite be a stupid question!
But the look of the wireless apple key board is absolutely fantastic, do you think it would work with a non mac laptop, i.e Windows?

Dont see why it wouldnt, just buy it from john lewis n if it doesnt work tell them you dont want it anymore :)
