Applecare Bought From Another Country.

Yo!

Managed to secure myself Applecare (iMac) from eBay last weekend while I was extremely drunk.

Didn't realise I bought it until it turned up today (looks like I paid £55 for it).

Looks completely legit (sealed etc), however, it looks to be of German origin???

Million dollar question is will it work with a UK iMac? The seller seems to think so.

Interwebz seems undecided (some say yes others say no).

I guess I could always pursue a refund if I'm able to find a definitive answer.

Just registered it over the phone with Apple, no issues and fully covered.

Even apple admitted I got a bargain (normally £140 iirc).

Yep, I bought mine in the US and had a nice chat with the Apple salesperson who basically said AppleCare is a global service, just go into any shop or ring them from anywhere.
Touch wood, I haven't needed to use mine yet!
