Applicator pad or Micro Fiber?

Thats what i used to wash with, and the mf cloths to apply/rub down polish with.
The results were good, but obviously if a pad is better i will try that.
Also, i applied the wax by hand - swear i was reading this somewhere, or was i just being stupid and got my hands sticky for nothing?

hmmmmm right, firstly dont wash your car with those, towels ?
use something like this

I read it as he puts his hand in the tub and rubs it on, not the way you think he means.
Put it this ways ladies and gents, my MD gave me funny looks on Monday morning when I had blue hands that still had DodoJuice blue velvet on them 
It is less wasteful and you get a more even coat. But a lot of waxes don't work as well.
Most I would suggest using applicator pads.
(BTW, post before wasn't meant to sound like a dick Happycallis, re read it and sounds like I was! sos!)

Ne bother JD no offence taken. I didnt realise that some waxes you were supposed to apply by hand anyway

As stated by my more than Northern friend, there are no waxes that are supposed to be applied by hand, simpy choices and personal experience as with most detailing
Wouldn't Onyx by hand again, would with the blue velvet, mainly due to coverage and how the wax reacted.
Also, some cars are better by hand I find. The clio is most definitely not. The Aston and R8 with the wide open surfaces were quite "handy" . . . buh dum dum tisch.
