Aqua Wax + Water Marks

so I used AG Aqua wax for the first time last week...was really impressed with the results...good times..

It rained....bad times

although the car looked uber cool with the rain just kinda "draped" over the car and beading nicely, by the morning there were loads of dirty water marks...(as expected after a night of rain)

I've washed the car since and given it another coat of aqua wax but the outline of the marks from the rain are still there and it looks horrible..

ideas for getting rid? I'm thinking a good claying and just start again with layering everything up?

You could spot polish the water marked areas with Super Resin Polish and rewax those bits if you don't want to start over.

iron and contaminates in the water. you can get a filter for the hose pip which take the iron out of the water, but you shouldnt need it if you dry the car propily.

I think up here our water supply aint that bad.

expensive but well worth it if your waters bad, like mine

i bought some harly carnuba wax, soon sorted that rain out
