Arch liner??

Mates just fitted some gaz gold coil overs to his 182 an on the first drive found it's catching on the arch liner, he was going to remove them but there's a lil piece of body work underneath an he's worried bout that ripping his tire. Any suggestions on what to remedy this issue would be greatly apprechiated.
Also the top mount inner thread is not all the way through the lock nut, does he require a diifernt top mout??

Should be fine on standard top mounts.

But surely if the thread is not fully in the nylock nut that can't be fine?? :S
