If you want to view a good assortment of video formats without the need for conversion then the 605 is an excellent choice over the Touch. I have a 605 and a iPhone, the 605 is the clear winner for video playback.

It also now works perfectly with my PS3 so I can watch all my stored video files on the main TV.

i have an archos 605 wifi 30gb and convinced 3 other people at work to buy one.

please bear in mind that you will need to purchase 2 codecs so that you can play back absolutley everything. i payed £13 per codec on the archos site.

i got mine for £160 through work.

Archos are brilliant, i have the AV500 i think it is, had it about 3 years. its brilliant

If you have access to a computer often then 30gb is plenty of storage space. Brilliant players.

The super sexy Suzie Perry reviewed this one in the last of the series of the Gadget Show. I think it was on the 17th December. I just deleted it off my sky+ You might be able to find it on youtube. They liked it alot but went for the ipod touch.
