Are my seats heated?

Just wondering if my 172 exclusive seats are heated, I obviously dont have any switching in place for them but I though maybe that spare round black socket might be it, and I could wire a ciggy lighter to them. I'm gonna freeze to those seats soon!

LOL at the rubbish on the back floor.

I had wires under my seats and thought I had heated seats. But the wires were for the airbags in the side of the seats.

But that's on my Clio, yours maybe different.

Hi, I've wired in the seat belt light and pretensioners which both come from that white connector. You see the brown one with the bright orange wire, thats for the side airbags, which I don't have wiring for and wouldn't want them active anyway. So that leave the round black one which I'm not sure what it does. Oh and the seats are full leather.

I have heated seats in my 182, but I'm sure there are no heatingplates in your seats. The switch of the heating is on the side of the chair

I thought I see on a 172 dash once that there was a switch to the right of the steering wheel, where you the have dash light dimmer, and light height adjuster?

I seem to remember you only got heated seats on the continent

well I cant think what else it could be, and heated seats would be lovely on those cold morning, my whole body freezes when sitting in them now.

yeah I have baby!! lol As there were only 172 made with it, its fooking rare!

I got the same extra underneath my seats in my 1.4 RT. But no switchnear the steering wheel for heated seats I'm positive its for heating and I know the french designed it so you've got to expect them to f@ck up but if the seats are not heated why have all the wiring on it still

Well spoke to John and his normal 172 seats have the same thing, but he's sure they are not heated so thinks it might be something to do with the side airbags.

i remember reading ages ago on here that it was an option in france and you couldnt get it over here.
