Are Renault mad

I got the Renault magazine through the other day, read the 182 Cup bit..and laughed, and then laughed even more when i noticed this personalisation scheme. Over £1000 for a paint option and a leather option ranging to over £3000? Together thats about a 3rd of the cars worth!

Anyone invested in these extras? Or are they not available yet?

A few people have gone for the Liquid Yellow paint option, I would too. Lots of money but it looks so damn good !

Wouldnt go anywhere near the leather option tho.

I didnt realise the Yellow was a personlisation option.. maybe a £250 one. Better not get any scratches then!

No its £1150.

Alot of money, but the colour suits the clio so well.
, thats loads!

I still think its worth it.
Im kinda glad that so many people think its stupid. It means that less people will go for it, and as a result a rarer car ;)

The ID leather packs are for the V6 though.

they offer them for both the 182 and the V6 in other markets.

Maybe they are phasing them in on the 182...

maybe, certainly making some changes arnt they. Getting rid of sat nav option etc

I didnt know the ID leather packs were available for the 182 in other countries, how much do they cost? same as the V6, if so quite a large chuck of the cars value that isnt it.

liquid yellow is tastey but the embroidery on the leather seats is rubbish. Who wants loads of strips of leather down the backrest. It looks rubbish. Also a complete waste of money.

would never buy leather again had it in my focus was red hot in the summer and freezing in the winter. it had heated seats but by the time they had warmed up you had got used to it, and you slid all over the place

waste of money
