Are you happy with your car?

Just wondering If any one else feels the same. I've had Betty just over two and a half years now & I can honestly say I still enjoy her as much as I did when I first got her. The longest I've had any car! I just adore my car, never bored of her! I hope to keep her for many years to come!

I've had my valver about two years, and i'll never ever sell it. (Unless someone wants to swap for a mint Mk2 escort)

Apart from that, cars come and go. Not bothered really.

There are loads i'd wish i'd kept but the valver is the only one i've ever wanted to keep forever.

No, not atm.

It needs a service, tracking, refurbed wheels, lowering and a new rear bumper.

Then i'd be happy. my tracking is fucked and it isn't nice to drive, this will be fixed asap.

I loved driving my Odyssey Blue Clio phs1 172 for over 2 years up until April this year, i couldn't think of a reason for selling as i enjoyed driving it everyday. I thought buying the white Clio would take the enjoyment level and fun factor to better highs but for some strange reason it doesn't give me the same vibe that the blue Clio did.

The blue Clio became a donor for the white 1, now it looks all sad on the driveway

I'm happy when it works, miserable when it's broken.

I was really happy with it untill the gearbox exploded, now it's fixed and working well I can't help but think it's
only a matter of time untill it rapes my wallet again.

Every notch of the gearbox, squeek and rattle of other things just makes me paranoid that something else is about to go wrong.

Although every time I accelerate up to 7500rpm, or put together a few nice corners i'm glad i've got a 172.

Yeah, i always look forward to driving the 182. Had her since April 2010 and although i miss my phase 1, i love the 182.

Yes, even more so now I've sorted the springs and today fitted a new centre dash display!!!
Only negative is the sound, it doesn't sound like a 180hp hot hatch!!

Love it when you take it for a spirited drive and remember why you spent money on it in the first place...

Hate it when you look at the to do list and hear the rattles

No. I'll elaberate: Its dog slow, the steering wheel doesnt feel connected to anything and its costing me ££££ in repairs...

Only plus side is that it litterally costs me nothing to run/insure/tax.

(107 sport BTW)

I was happy with the 182 all the time I had it, it was an awesome car. It's also the car I kept for the longest, I had it for 3.5 years. I still think 182s are great-looking as well, they've not aged at all badly.

As for now? Hell yeah.

Very happy with the 200 (minus fuel usage - massive difference from my 172 - although I didn't buy it for fuel economy did I).
Most fun ive had in a car and I proper love it. Will be gutted when I get rid. It'll take something special to top it.

if youre happy with your car, when you eventually have to get shot for whatever reason, youre genuinely upset, i have been a few times

Classic post-clio itch Mike. (Wish I'd have kept the Golf now though)

Nah, maybe a clio as a 2nd car but not my main again.

Buckets of fun, but comfort is worth a lot. Guess thats why you want the golf back rather than the clio.

Very happy, always wanted one and for the money there isn't anything that comes close.

Was only thinking today how much I still love mine 1 year on.

Still go for drives for no reason other than driving. Still regularly take the long way home just to spend longer behind the wheel. So yeah, I'm happy with it.

I'm still hankering for summat RWD with 2 seats and no roof though...
