Are you on Virgin Media TV ?

Car  Skoda Fabia vRS
are you paying too much ?

if so, give them a ring, they are willing to negotiate on your package

we have been with them for years, possibly 10 years, and ive just changed our package, well, not really changed, just got it cheaper

Previously we were paying £56.50 for XL TV, L Broadband, and basic phone

now paying £45 a month, with phone upgraded to free evening and weekend calls, and...............V+ box, installed free

How does that compare to the sky deal of £27 a month for tv broadband and free evening and weekend calls plus a full package exept sports and movies.Dont forget you cant see sky one on your can you

ian

Sky deal is really £37 a month because you have to pay BT phone line of £11 a month, and the broadband service isnt as advertised, he checked our potential service with BT and said at most we would get 3mb from them

if i hadnt have wanted the V+ box it would have been £35, cheaper than Sky and faster broadband

I'm currently with NTL "Virgin" paying on average £85 a month for TV, Phone and broadband.

Changing over to Sky at the end of the month for the same package and paying £26 :approve: plus £11 for the phone line to BT

it says upto 8mb i believe ? depends on how far away you live from the telephone exchanged

Mines 6.5mb

yea, up to 8mb, im happy with my Virgin broadband so dont really want to change to a Sky service that isnt up to scratch

Virgin Media has this morning announced its plans to double the speed of its 'XL' cable broadband from 10 to 20 Mbps from May. This will make Virgin's broadband service one of the fastest services available in the UK taking advantage of its unique cable network.

This change will also result in a price rise from £35 to £37 per month (including VAT) but the upstream speeds will also increase to 768 Kbps, bringing it into line with some of the faster DSL services.

haha, i just rang them saying that sky could do me the same deal as what I have got now for £26 as oppose to out £36 that we are paying, and the immediately said Ill do you the same for £20/month! but I said no, but instead you can put my TV package up and my BB to 10mb and they did!

Thanks for the tip BRUN!

no probs, a forum i also visit is full of pages and pages of people who have rang them up and got a better deal
