ashley exhausts

anyone have any info on the above manufacturer, have seen a nice looking backbox at motorsportworld, twin 3" round for £112, the site says they are one of the main suppliers of exhausts to competition cars, but does anyone actually have one fitted?

does it look/sound good?

if not, anybody got a goot backbox they can reccomend, must be twin 3" round though

I don't know of that many people with them, there are a few of us around. I have their system on my mk1 clio (with a silence de-cat). Fitting was a bit of a fiddle but it sits perfect (see pics).

Noise wise, hah, v.deep and loud. Not a raspy sound but it bubbles v.nicely. With the silenced de-cat it makes v.loud bangs on backfire. For the price I love it, and it'll last a good few years.

I would happily recommend to other people!!

cheers for the replies guys and the pics look great jim but the noise thing worries me, i want it subtle, im not buying a backbox for the noise its just for looks, after all i only have a 1.2 and dont want it sounding like a rocket while moving extremely slowly

but those prices are not to be sniffed at

I'm sure the backbox would be quieter than the whole system, and I do have a de-cat.
