Saw some nice Astons driving past my house last weekend, so went to see what was going on.
Got a nice shock at Woburn Abbey!

I'd love a DB5 if I won the lottery, I know they're not very fast, handle badly, have terrible brakes and are temperamental and unreliable, but that's like telling me Kate Beckinsale has weird shaped toes, can't cook for sh*t and may occasional kick me in the b*llocks when she's in a bad mood, I wouldn't care, i'd still want a go on her every day and just look at her in wonder when i'm not.

Think the DB5 in this was bought by a guy years ago for about £6k....

I sold my immaculate DB6 Vantage Volante Automatic for £1600 in 1974. A guy from Australia bought it sight unseen, and arranged shipping, and obviously he's had the last laugh. The car had cost me £900 about 6 weeks before I sold it. It was giving about 8mpg around London,11-12 mpg when going hard up the A1 in those pre-camera days.
