Audi style LED headlights now available for the clio

Stumbled across these when i was looking on some dutch car websites.

Really dont know what to think.

Kind of tacky but looking at the design of them i think they could well 'butch' up the front end of the ph1.

or without the LED indicators:

Wouldnt buy any personally but i have to say i think they are better looking than angel eyes.

Discuss.

Can't really picture what it would look like tbh but my first thought is that it wouldn't suit a car of that age.

Too much plain chrome in that top section IMO.... Along the right lines but making them much more similar to OE but with a thin strip of LED's would be the best bet

I saw a golf (I think) The other day with leds like that but underneath the headlight o nthe bumper...it looked w**k.

I was gonna put red leds in the gaps above my numberplate and have them scan..Knight Rider style :)

liking them actually, aren't day running lights going to become law soon on all new cars sold in europe

yeh european legislation means all new cars by i think either 1011 or 1012 have to have daytime running lights.

Sort of makes sense tbh.

Just come back from 2 weeks road trip around Europe and most people have headlights on all the time - and why not.

But isnt the law at the moment against people for having lights on in the daytime or is that just for foglights?

I actually think they do look more aggressive and are a good alternative to what was available, IMO the OEM lights on the ph1 are arse hence why I replaced them with Angle eyes..
