auto headlights on 172

theyv packed in one mine - this morn to be precise, i think direct sunlight might be the cause

has anyone else had this prob?? Iv got her gan back in on monday to get rattles and sihte sorted so ill ask them to have a look, im assuming the sensor or black pack in windscreen can be fixed easily

yea u have to reset em every once in a while.

1/ turn key to battery

2/ open driver door

3/ turn head lights on manually, then off, then back on *ull hear a double beep.*



then turn car on and see if it works

cheers, that was almost it, i went down to car there and fixed it. I tried the suggestion, but in the book section 1.55 its.....

to deactivate or reactivate this function move the end of the stalk 1 twice consecutively from 0 to side light position, with the engine stopped and the ignition on

bit pisch you have to reset it still, at least i know.

nice 1 boys - mine went this eveing - all fixed within 5 mins of checking out the forum - saves another nightmare trip to renault and the car coming back with something else wrong!
