Autocar, V6 v Evo 9 v 350ZGT4

cover article in todays autocar magazine..and the V6 is in liquid yellow too, 350Z won but they priased the V6 for being what it is, which was always going to happen!

Is the gt4 just a 350z in yellow with 30bhp more, no other modifications? What is up with that test one is a overweight cruiser, one is a 4 wheel drive sports(gsr) rally(gt,rs) car and one is a rear drive sports car. I remeber they compared the v6 to the vauxhall vxr220, what is the point.

I can see the future, the next autocar test skooda no mates v ferrari 430 v range rover discovery.

I thought it was a fair article. BTW the car was Acid yellow, comes out a little differently in print !

doh i was sure that was the more goldy yellow of the two..if thats acid in real life then its alot nicer than the other one, i always thought acid was green-ish



i thought it was a fair article too..it wasnt so much a head to head..more of discussing 4 different options you could get for £30k

I know the 350Z is 1475kgs but I would hardly call it an over weight cruiser, but agree that the V6 is a rear drive sport car.....lol

No i havent driven a 350z but after watching the best motoring 350z shock video my opinion of it has lowered. Gan Sun in best motoring (the guy driving in the nsx type r v lambos v ferrari v porsche v csl video) seems to think the engines terrible and its more an american cruiser than a sports car. I love the souped up n/as - vtecs, mr-s etc they have on best motoring, proper cars.
